This was amazing. Cannot remember the lady's name who gave us a personal tour of the museum but she was so knowledgeable. If you go to Kenya, take a moment to visit. They even have a snake and tortoise sanctuary there! You can just arrive and buy your ticket when there.
Visited Museum Hill and honestly it was such a nice experience. The highlight for me was the Nairobi Snake Park — I wasn’t expecting to see so many different kinds of snakes in one place 😳 They had everything from small ones to really scary species. I even saw what I think was the most dangerous one, the Black Mamba (so fast and intense!), and also the green one, probably the Green Mamba. Wallah, it was both fascinating and a little terrifying at the same time 😂 If you’re curious about wildlife and want something different from the usual museums, this place is definitely worth a visit. Just be ready… some of those snakes will stay in your mind for a while 🐍
Museum Hill is one of Nairobi's must-visit attractions. The museums are well maintained, informative, and perfect for spending a few hours exploring Kenya's rich history and culture. The real highlight, though, is the Snake Park—being able to safely see and even hold some of the snakes makes it an unforgettable experience. A fantastic outing for families, tourists, and anyone looking for something unique. Highly recommended!
Aside from the life altering and dangerous experience of trying to cross the road to enter the museum property, our experience at the museum was great! I loved learning about Kenyan history and culture. There are great exhibits for children as well.
