It’s one of the largest fresh produce market in Kenya serving Nairobi and its environs for both wholesale and retail buyers. The price differential is significant compared to the less congested, convenient markets.
Best time to get the freshest of produce is about 4am im told , but i was there at 11pm , and it was jam packed inside and outside the market . But the produce is super fresh , prices fair and it actually gives me the vibe of being at like a soko in shagz and i ❤️ it. Safety first to anyone visiting for the first time, keep your belongings intact , there are those that use the msukumano to their benefit to the unsuspecting.
