best meal we had on our trip to kenya. all the food was clearly fresh and farm to table. the salads were all so unique and flavourful, especially the beets & melon and vine cherry tomatoes. the beef short rib was so delicious and tender, and the ragu pasta was homemade and great as well. tilapia was wonderful and the salad on top was a great addition. drinks wise, both the coconut shake lemonade and the passion fruit soda were refreshing and balanced. one thing that was not as outstanding was the pizza. although great in flavor, we found the crust to be a little oily. but otherwise amazing restaurant and must try if you are in the area.
This place is quite a treasure. Do not miss the opportunity to experience this one of a kind restaurant. If you’re going to the giraffe preserve, this is on the way. After ordering your food, you can tour the property and see how they grow their own greens and herbs and other vegetables. The menu is creative, with local flavors, but definitely a fusion. Apparently the owner is from Ecuador, but the key thing that makes this place special is how they use local and sustainable ingredients in everything. Did I mention that they really know what they’re doing with French pastries, and other patisserie items? Truly, this place is extraordinary and worth the slight additional expense. We were lucky to get a spot at the bar, but it’s best to have a reservation, especially on the weekends.
Cultiva Farm Kenya offers one of the most unique dining experiences in Nairobi. The restaurant follows a true farm-to-table concept, with much of its produce grown on-site, and the menu changes with the seasons to reflect what nature provides. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, making the meal feel more like a culinary experience than just dining out. While it’s on the expensive side, the exceptional hospitality, creative drinks, and beautiful setting make it well worth a visit. If you’re looking for something truly differe

4 months agoLove this place! And it wasn’t just foreigners… menu was great, service too.
The decor was airy, full of light and plants. It was a bit of a hike to get there (took us 30 minutes), but it was well worth it.
