Very cute experience. We got there by taxi, waited only a little bit to get the tickets, like two minutes. Then we got to wash our hands and received a giraffe food :D There are some tvs and posters explaining the cause of this center and some about giraffes and Kenyan wildlife. After that you get to go super near those giraffes to feed them. They are so adorable and not shy at all. Their tongues are pretty rough. You’ll get to feed them the whole bowl one by one piece and you can choose any giraffe you want. You are not allowed to pet them and it can be pretty crowded. But I think it is worth the money, because how cool is to be this close to such beautiful and large animals? I think you can spend there as much time as you want, but you’ll only get one small bowl of food for them. After that you can visit a souvenir shop and else. The whole place is very well designed and looks pretty.

One of the most unforgettable experiences I had in Nairobi. Getting so close to the giraffes in such a beautiful and peaceful setting was truly amazing. A brilliant experience! The Giraffe Centre lets you get up close with these gentle giants in a lovely, natural setting while learning about conservation efforts for the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. The absolute highlight was hand-feeding them, with a giraffe leaning down to take a pellet right from your palm for such a special, memorable moment. Friendly staff, great for all ages, and a wonderful cause. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Nairobi!
Seeing the giraffes up close and getting to feed them is a very special experience. However, keep in mind that it gets very crowded with other spectators and tour groups. I was here on a weekday around midday and it was very crowded but the giraffes rotated between the feeding platforms and the trees in back. Overall its a cute, albeit fast experience. There are informative plaques and videos around as well as a gift shop. There are also many hand washing stations around. They do give you a small portion of pellets to feed the giraffes and once you're done, you can hang about or exit at your convenience. Overall a cute experience if you're in the area or if its included in your tour package.
