We had a wonderful family lunch at Talisman and really enjoyed the overall experience. The restaurant is beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by lush gardens that create a peaceful atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights for us was the dedicated play area for kids, making it an excellent choice for families who want to relax while the children stay entertained.
The food was very good from start to finish. We shared several appetizers, enjoyed burgers, grilled fish, and other main dishes, and finished with excellent desserts. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented.
Service was friendly, although it could be a little more attentive and responsive during busy periods. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food, beautiful setting, and family-friendly environment help justify the cost.
Overall, I’d happily recommend Talisman for a relaxed lunch or dinner with family or friends. Great food, beautiful gardens, a fantastic space for kids, and a memorable atmosphere. We’d definitely visit again.
Popped into The Talisman in Karen for lunch last week and really enjoyed it. The place has this lovely garden vibe with plenty of greenery and nice artwork everywhere super chill and relaxing for a daytime meal.
Service was friendly and efficient. Started with the feta and coriander samosas, which were crispy and tasty, then had the Thai red curry. It was properly spicy, full of flavour, and came with good portions. Everything felt fresh.
A bit pricey, but the food and atmosphere make it worth it. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something nice without too much fuss. Would go back.

Talisman is a quaint cosy restaurant. Designed in Lamu Style decor, wooden tables, carved windows and chairs. Gorgeous lamps and wall paintings. Candlelight lighting...soft lighting, warm and comfortable. The food is first class. Fresh and well prepared, sushi, seafood, chicken, burgers, steaks...a mixture of regional cuisines. The cocktails are to die for. The service fast, attentive, professional. The waiters discreet and thorough. We loved it.
If you look through my reviews, you know I love a good bowl, specifically a Salmon Poké bowl and this one did not disappoint! It’s fighting for top spot with Shokudo. I had a Margarita with my bowl which was absolutely divine.
I’ve also had their beef burger multiple times which is always a good yummy option and their sushi platter is really good, the fish is fresh.
