I had an excellent experience visiting the City Market while exploring Nairobi. It is one of the best places to shop for souvenirs, offering a wide variety of locally made crafts, artwork, jewelry, wooden carvings, magnets, keychains, and other Kenyan keepsakes at very reasonable prices.

The City Market in downtown Nairobi is a mix of different market vendors. On one hand, you've got the butchery where butchers chop all sorts of cuts off meat like beef, goat, lamb, etc. The other side sells local handcrafts. You can openly haggle on the price. Plenty of cheap souvenirs here

This is a one-stop market right in the middle of the central business district of Nairobi. You will find a variety of shops selling curios, flowers and even different types of meats. Everything is nice,fresh and affordable. If you need curios and souvenirs for a bargain price, this is the market to go to. The Location is also very ideal and accessible. I always do my shopping there including buying fresh meat including beef, chicken, fish and pork.
